Album: Here 4 Business Album by THE NORTHMOB

South African collective The Northmob. delivers its new Here 4 Business Album. The project is an 11-track body of work created alongside core collaborators Trophy, Orieblxckmaestro, MajorIcey and Carlow Picasso. Running for about 36 minutes, the album captures the Pretoria collective’s chemistry through a tightly connected selection of records, with each member contributing to the group-driven identity of the project.

Musically, Here 4 Business Album is rooted in South African Hip-Hop, Rap and Trap, with The Northmob. bringing a distinctly Pretoria flavour to its modern production. The project combines hard-hitting beats, energetic rap performances and local influences, while moving between confident street records and more melodic moments. Songs such as “peke, fosholo,” “cut, box,” “peaky, blinder,” “highway, dimas,” “gerr, ten” and “camp, chair” help establish the album’s contemporary Hip-Hop/Rap direction.

Collaboration is a major part of Here 4 Business Album, with featured appearances from Young Stunna, Focalistic, Blxckie, Loatinover Pounds, LaCabra and Lowfeye, alongside Carlow Picasso and the collective’s core contributors. Young Stunna appears on “sjepa,” Focalistic contributes to “gerr, ten” and “camp, chair,” while Blxckie and Loatinover Pounds join the crew on “ten, toes.” LaCabra appears on the closing track “maatla, thata,” giving the album a varied lineup of voices while keeping The Northmob. and its distinctive Pretoria rap sound at the centre.
