South African singer and songwriter Simmy presents her new eFairyland EP, released on 4 September 2026. The three-track project consists of “Siy’nkanyezi,” “One More Time” and “Bawo,” with a total runtime of just over 12 minutes. Released through Platoon, eFairyland EP is a compact project that places Simmy’s expressive vocals and melodic songwriting at the centre, creating a dreamy and intimate listening experience across its three songs.

Musically, eFairyland EP explores contemporary African music, with strong connections to Afro-Soul, Afro-Pop and the melodic side of Amapiano. The production is handled by Bongmenti Kevin Mkhonta, who combines atmospheric instrumentation and rhythmic African elements with Simmy’s distinctive vocal style. The short tracklist allows each song to develop its own mood while maintaining the warm, soulful and polished character that connects the entire eFairyland EP.

The main featured artist on eFairyland EP is Zee Nxumalo, who joins Simmy on the opening track “Siy’nkanyezi.” “One More Time” and “Bawo” are presented as solo Simmy performances, keeping the focus largely on her voice and songwriting throughout the project.
