Step Zero EP is a collaborative Amapiano project from Q Bonke and Mlooda, bringing the two producers together for a compact seven-track collection. The project combines melodic piano production, rhythmic percussion and vocal-driven collaborations while showcasing the chemistry between both artists.

The title “Step Zero” suggests the beginning of a journey—the point before the first major step. That concept gives the EP a sense of introduction and progression, presenting Q Bonke and Mlooda's collaborative sound as the foundation for what could develop into a larger musical journey.

Musically, Step Zero is firmly rooted in Amapiano. Its seven songs feature a wide range of collaborators, including ImbongiYosizi, Felo Le Tee, Smoove, Miikey Ndlovu, De Confident DJ, Mshibe, Soul Nativez, Zee Nxumalo, MalumNator, and cadie yano.

The tracklist moves from “Ngiyekeni (Intro)” into songs such as “Mngani,” “Xola,” “Amacala,” “Wole,” “Amakesi,” and the closing “Utshwala.” This combination of vocalists and producers gives the project variety while maintaining its central Amapiano identity.
