South African DJ and producer Ntokzin delivers his new Nhlanhla EP, released on 28 August 2026. The seven-track project presents a collaborative body of work built around Ntokzin’s distinctive production, bringing together established names and rising talents from the South African music scene. Across the EP, he balances vocal-led records with dance-focused production, creating a project that carries an energetic yet melodic atmosphere while allowing each collaboration to bring a different character to the overall sound.

Musically, Nhlanhla EP is rooted primarily in Amapiano, combining deep basslines, layered percussion, atmospheric melodies and the signature log-drum rhythms associated with the genre. Ntokzin maintains a smooth and polished production style throughout the project, moving between soulful vocal moments and more energetic, club-oriented arrangements. Songs such as “Uyambona Lo,” “Amantombazane,” “Khala Njalo,” “Ungezwa Bathi,” “Fukuze,” “Woza” and “Ba Kae” showcase different sides of the EP while remaining connected through its contemporary Amapiano direction.

Collaboration plays an important role throughout Nhlanhla EP, with Ntokzin joined by an extensive lineup that includes Da Muziqal Chef, De Mthuda, Sino Msolo, Thukuthela, Miikey Ndlovu, Njelic, Mkeyz, Zar Keys, Q Bonke, Ciniso, Zee Nxumalo and Josiah De Disciple. The combination of producers and vocalists adds variety across the seven tracks, with different voices, melodies and production elements contributing to the project.
