South African Maskandi artist gqibu presents his new Hit Delivery Album, released on 7 September 2026. The project contains 9 tracks with a total runtime of approximately 33 minutes, offering a focused collection built around gqibu’s distinctive vocal delivery and isiZulu storytelling. Songs including “Isinanqa,” “Monday to Friday,” “Hit Delivery” and “Iphushe mtanami” give gqibu space to lead the project through solo performances, while several collaborative records bring additional voices into the album.

Musically, Hit Delivery Album is rooted firmly in Maskandi, combining traditional Zulu musical influences with guitar-driven melodies, rhythmic instrumentation and contemporary production. gqibu maintains the storytelling character at the heart of Maskandi, while the nine-track format allows the album to move between different moods and vocal combinations.
