Album: DON’T HUG ME, I’M SCARED Album by Credo V Daniels

DON’T HUG ME, I’M SCARED Album is a new project from Credo V Daniels, presenting a darker and more introspective side of the South African artist’s music. The album uses its striking title to establish an emotional atmosphere built around vulnerability, personal experiences and self-expression.

The title “DON’T HUG ME, I’M SCARED” suggests emotional conflict—the desire for connection while simultaneously feeling uncomfortable with vulnerability. This gives the project a distinctive identity and provides a foundation for themes surrounding relationships, fear, personal growth and navigating difficult emotions.

Musically, the album sits within Hip-Hop / Rap, combining contemporary production with Credo V Daniels’ vocal delivery and songwriting. The project uses varied rhythms and atmospheric production to complement its introspective concept while maintaining a modern South African hip-hop character.

DON’T HUG ME, I’M SCARED Album represents another chapter in Credo V Daniels’ catalogue, highlighting personal expression and contemporary rap production through a project with a memorable concept and distinctive identity.
