Lesotho artist Cityzeen Ls presents his new Moshana Lihlabeng Album, released on 4 September 2026. The project brings his Sesotho-rooted storytelling and distinctive vocal approach into a fresh full-length body of work, with songs that reflect culture, identity, everyday experiences and life in the Mountain Kingdom. Moshana Lihlabeng Album includes tracks such as “Serurubele,” “Malabulabu,” “Poulelo” and several collaborations, giving Cityzeen Ls room to move between personal performances and records featuring other voices from the regional music scene. Current release listings confirm the album arrived on September 4.

Musically, Moshana Lihlabeng Album draws from Afro-Pop and contemporary Sesotho music, combining melodic vocals, culturally influenced rhythms and modern African production. Cityzeen Ls keeps his Lesotho identity prominent throughout the project, using Sesotho lyrics and locally influenced musical ideas while presenting them through a polished contemporary sound. His music is classified within Afro-Pop, and the album’s combination of traditional influence and modern production gives it a strong connection to Lesotho’s developing contemporary music scene.

Collaboration plays an important role on Moshana Lihlabeng Album, with Cityzeen Ls joined by several artists. SANNERE, Nthethe and Koete Linako feature on “Enoa Eo Ke Moratang,” while Litshepe Lr and Omali Themba appear on “Taemane Ea Lihlaba.” Ntate Stunna joins him on “Hotla Mathoa,” Phoka Ea Boroa and Atii Zee contribute to “Leqhaoe La Lilaere,” and Qhomane appears on “Jere.” These collaborations bring different voices into the project while keeping Cityzeen Ls, his Sesotho storytelling and the Afro-Pop character of Moshana Lihlabeng Album firmly at its centre.
